DSL 1. DSL is an acronym for dick sucking lips. Dick sucking lips refers to the shape and texture of certain female lips. Having DSL is generally considered a positive quality and should be taken as a compliment if the term should happen to be bestowed upon a women. 2. In the age of technology the term or acronym DSL can have another meaning. It can refer to a Digital Subscriber Line, this is a form of High Speed Internet access. The reader will have to examine the context of the statement in which the term DSL is used in order to determine its meaning. |

Feng Shui 1. The Chinese art or practice of positioning objects, especially graves, buildings, and furniture, based on a belief in patterns of yin and yang and the flow of chi that have positive and negative effects. Source Reference 2. Feng shui is a philosophy that creates an environment which is ergonomic; it lets us work efficiently, comfortably and successfully by following the patterns of nature. Think of yourself as a boat, it is simply easier and more effective to sail with the current and wind rather than against it. This idea is one of the basic concepts of feng shui. Imagine your house as an extension of yourself, like a shirt that you can wear. If you were to wear the shirt so that your neck were to fit through the sleeve, you probably would not function very well, finding it very constrictive and hard to breathe. In feng shui, a house is designed to fit the body comfortably, orientated to allow the body to take in vital energy or qi so that is can funtion effectively. There are many aspects to getting dressed for success - you can't just put on a shoe and walk out the door for an interview. Similarly, there are many aspects to understanding and designing with feng shui. It is not just about orientation and opening the door in the right direction. It is about being aware and in tune with yourself and your environment: the combination of interior and exterior space, light, sounds, smells, materials, furniture arrangement, etc. and how they affect your metal and physical energy. In the philosphy of feng shui, everything has qi or the ability to affect you, regardless of your awareness. foooch : The word foooch, pronounced FUCK in an elongated fashion, is more of a sound than an actual word. It is a statement of displeasure or of a sudden realization that the current situation is dire. The phrase foooch was coined by my roomate for use in his many dire situations or statements of displeasure. |

shmuutz: Shmuutz can be defined as any unknown or foreign substance or residue that accumlates on a surface to a degree where it can be seen with the naked eye. Usually schmuutz doesn't have a defining shape. It can take on an amoebic formlessness and in most case studies it is gooey and sticky. There is no defined chemical formulation for schmuutz. Its chemical makeup can vary. |

sucka : 1. Sucka is a form of ebonics or leebonics. It refers to the term sucker. A sucka is a sucker. i.e.- "Look at that sorry looking sucka." 2. Sucka can also be a way of addressing a friend or aquaintence. i.e.-"Yo, sucka, what's up?" 3. Sucka can also refer to someone who thinks they are bigtime but are really a smalltimer or a pigeon. The reader will have to examine the context of the statement in which the term sucka is used in order to determine its meaning. |

Survival Kit, Generic : Through the course of travel one must always be prepared for the unexpected or things that are expected but bad. Thus, one must carry a survival kit. Each survival kit will be ordained by the location or destination for which it is prepared. i.e.- If a person is going to the Bronx, they would bring a Bronx Survival Kit. Survival kits are prepared to help the traveler cope with the environment or situations that occur in the area being traveled to. Items in the survival kit can range from the mundane to the extravagant. For example you might find a bandaid, aspirin, gauze, excedrin, condoms, lube, 500 yards of kevlar tape, novacain, 100 yards of stretch resistant rope, pedia-lyte, handi-wipes, indigenous language books (such as ebonics for the Bronx or Spanish for Mexico) calling cards, a home kit for sutures, pergaset, and some little pills of varying colors. While I do not condone the use of illegal or prescription drugs, I must admit that it is helpful to be aquainted with a pharmacist. |
